HOPKINSVILLE, KY., — Freda Betts Faulk, 84, of Hopkinsville passed away at 6:02pm Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home. A native of Big Rock, TN she was born on October 8, 1934 the daughter of the late Freddie Thomas Betts and Virginia Miller Brame Betts. She worked as a cashier for Drury Brothers, Indian Hills IGA and Houchens for 36 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Emmanuel Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her sons John Faulk of Hopkinsville, and Jeff (Sue) Faulk of Avon, IN., her daughter Vickey (Tommy) Daniel of Cerulean, her brother Fred (Carol) Betts of Germantown, TN., her sister Marilyn Shivley of Peru, IN., her grandchildren Emily (Chris) Hawkins, Molly Faulk, Taylor (Josh) Dwire, Kaitlynn (Andy) Wilson, Logan (Karlee) Daniel, Sierra Cross and Dax Cross, her great grandchildren Sophie Katherine Kramer, Haddix Clare Wilson and Miller Thomas Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm Friday. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may take the form of donations to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
